Advanced
Manufacturing.

Semiconductor and Li-ion battery manufacturing require large quantities of high-quality water, while their facilities also generate significant amounts of waste heat.

Uravu Connects
These Two Needs

Our technology uses low-grade waste heat (35 to 85°C) to extract moisture from the air and generate freshwater on-site. With 1 MW of recoverable heat, Uravu can produce up to 30,000 litres of water per day.

The generated water can be further treated and polished to meet the requirements of high-purity industrial applications.

Semiconductor
Manufacturing

Semiconductor fabs require reliable supplies of ultrapure and process water across wafer fabrication, cleaning, cooling and utility operations. Uravu can provide an additional on-site water source, with generated water further polished through conventional purification systems to achieve the required quality.

Applications

  • UPW pre-treatment
  • Process water
  • Cooling & utility water
  • Equipment cleaning
  • Facility operations

Li-ion Battery
Manufacturing.

Battery gigafactories require water for manufacturing processes, cooling systems, utilities and facility operations.

Uravu can repurpose suitable waste heat from the facility to generate water, reducing dependence on external freshwater sources.
